Vegetable inoculation and mushroom propagation practice-oriented workshop at the University of Bologna - Institute of Horticultural Sciences
At the Department of Agriculture and Food Science of the University of Bologna, two lecturers from the Department of Vegetable and Mushroom Cultivation held a full-day workshop with the participation of nearly 70 students.
Dr. Noémi Kappel gave a lecture on the theoretical background of vegetable inoculation and presented various inoculation techniques to the interested students.
Dr. Anna Szabó gave a comprehensive lecture on the propagation methods of fungi that can be cultivated, and then presented the implementation of the cultivation of boletus mushrooms in practice.
The Institute has long had a good professional relationship with the teachers and researchers of the University of Bologna, as Erasmus partners they had several students with us on part-time training or in the framework of the Joint Master Degree program. During the successful professional meeting, further opportunities for cooperation and joint research were also discussed.
